Jim gives an educational reading from his braille notes of the 10 Amendments, in honor of December 15 (Bill of Rights Day), and the two of them discuss how our government has abandoned these principles.

Has the local news cycle become less interesting post-election?  Fear not, LNP is the gift that keeps on giving!  Host Danny Martin gives a brief analysis of the recent local election results, specifically the Manheim Township school board race, and talks about the ongoing cultural hysteria.  Also, hear his plugs for his latest article, for his Toastmasters group, for the Defend the Guard bill, and for fellow local podcasters.

Host Danny Martin explains the very unbalanced political coverage by Lancaster's local newspaper, LNP, particularly on local races such as the school board election in Manheim Township.  He also touches on its over-reliance on the Associated Press, its flawed reporting during the Covid pandemic, and elsewhere.  A short list of some of the propaganda techniques called out:

• Invocation of authority
• Bandwagon fallacies
• Manipulation of language (e.g. watering down of letters, and outright changing of words)
