Show notes-Lance Israel
Lance Israel has always had a natural connection with music
and grew up singing and performing. At the age of 21 he was given his first
flute in Maui, Hawaii. It was a little unassuming bamboo flute that
synchronistically began what he now refers to as the unexpected magical flute
journey. Now, nearly 30 years later, Lance has acquired a core collection of
about 17 wooden and bamboo flutes from around the world and has recorded 4 cds
including Under the Banyan Tree which was recorded back on Maui 13 years after
receiving that first flute. He’s had many fortunate opportunities to bring this
soothing music to varied contexts for meditation, healing and enjoyment. He
played as a Bedside Musician at the Flagstaff Medical Center for over 4 years,
used his instruments in his position as Spiritual Consultant and Meditation
Specialist at a residential treatment center in southern Arizona and spent 2
and a half years with 4th and 5th graders in a multi-sensory space cultivating
awareness and self-regulation to promote greater harmony in their lives and
relationships. He enhanced his offering at The International School of the
Healing Arts in San Diego, California, has also been a guest musician at
several schools, churches, Farmer’s markets, and homes. Lance is also available
for private events and individual sessions where the Spirit combined with the
music supports people in letting go of old traumas and honing in on the tone of
their own existence, restoring harmony to mind body and soul. “My mission is to
assist people to remember and cultivate their essential connection to
experience more joy and meaning in all their relationships. Lane’s dream is for
all people to remember how deeply loved and intimately connected we all are.”
