The question of guidance is one of the most problematic things with Christians. 

All of failures, in the end, come from failing to distinguish to voice of the Lord from other voices. 

It all goes back to being able to hear the voice of the Lord.

People since the time of Adam have wondered when the end will come, when righteousness will be brought in. 

How near to the end of this age are we?

The Lord Jesus gave gifts unto men. Whatever your gift or ministry is, it is given of Christ.

This ministry given of Christ is to be fulfilled. You may only be given one bag of gold, but it only matters what you do with that bag. It’s not given for any other reason other than it might be fulfilled. The increase is what the Lord is looking for.

“But by the grace of God I am what I am. And His grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain but I laboured more abundantly than they all yet not I but the grace of God which was with me.”
-1 Corinthians 15:10

You can never get anywhere spiritually until you are yourself in Christ. Now mark that very carefully, it is not that you cannot get anywhere until you are yourself, but yourself in Christ. Many people have the idea that self and Christ are opposed and the two never meet, but until you find yourself in Christ and you are yourself in Christ, you will never get anywhere in Christian life, Christian character, or Christian service.

The first thing the Lord does with us when He saves us is, if we will only let Him, He gets us in the nest.

There comes a day, when the Lord disturbs the nest. Very upsetting, He pulls it to pieces.

And then we find the Lord comes with us, under us, bears us up at just the right time.

"Yet, I have set my King upon my holy hill of Zion."

There’s only one church. There’s only one true church. 

There is only one Christ, and we cannot change Him to match our personal experience.

He is who He is.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but of power, love, and of a sound mind."
