Recently, members of the U.S. Senate put pencil to paper on a bill designed to guide the development of autonomous cars in the United States. The bill did not include trucks, but may provide some hints about what would be included in legislation dealing with autonomous trucks. Terry Scruton has a report.

Voters in West Virginia overwhelmingly approved a referendum question over the weekend to tap bonds to get needed road work done in each of the state’s 55 counties. Also, the November ballot in Maine will once again ask voters whether to approve millions in bonds for transportation uses.
