Sorry for the delay getting this very special episode up, but here it is: the podcast we had to record after getting in a debate with a bunch of assholes at the bar who claimed they could shoot better than Ricky Rubio from 3 in the NBA (so...better than 30%...which is laughable). He also asked me (Patrick) if I knew what the G-League was when I said Thabeet was out of the NBA (This was during our first attempt at recording the podcast...which had very subpar sound. I’ll post as much of that as I can later as bonus content). We also discussed the game vs Detroit, & current events in our Hell World. Enjoy!

We went to Mackenzie (please give us free beer), immediately after Minnesota’s win over the Spurs, and talked about how such a victory has not happened since the time of the Roman Empire. We also talked about the games against Phoenix and Utah, Bjelica finally getting minutes, and how much we hate the fact the Lakers wear jerseys that say “MLPS” on the front. This one was fun, and I’m glad KAT had a good birthday

On this very special episode, we were joined by our very good Mavs Twitter friends, Kirk and Andy. We discussed the Wolves, the Mavs, and the election that went down on Tuesday. It was tons of fun. 

Instead of our usual location with just the two of us, we decided to go to Bauhaus (which was hosting a Shredders concert later that night. You should google them right now), and have our first guest on: the one and only Average Jer. As usual, we had topics planned, but we hardly kept to them. There was supposed to be a second part to this episode, but the place got too crowded and loud to salvage the recording. Part two will have to wait for the next time we have Jer on, which hopefully will be very soon. The recording literally ends with Maggie leaving to use the bathroom. I hope you like our weirdness 

In our previous episode, we told you all to calm down after Minnesota’s loss to the Spurs. Two games later, we sit here pretty much vindicated for saying that. We let you know that on this podcast. We also tried to get into a break down of both the Jazz game and the Thunder game. We were organized and everything. So of course, that went completely off the rails. But you love us for that. Anyway, enjoy. 

We did an emergency podcast about the Timberwolves’ first game of the season because social media went into a complete meltdown over how they played. We discussed how everyone needs to calm down, how this team will take time to mesh, and how we expect that to happen as the season goes forward. Patrick also almost deleted the whole podcast because he made wild hand gestures while talking about cats, and bumped the recorder in the process. 

All of the things went off the rails. More importantly, I got Maggie to come to St. Paul. Oh, and we did a preview of MIN’s roster in the most Maggie-Patrick way possible

Maggie & I discussed the new Wolves uniforms, the new court design, the renovations at Target Center. We also talked about Jimmy Butler’s Daily routine, & Mike Pence’s stunt on Sunday. But importantly, though, we laid the record straight about Duck, Duck, Gray Duck, & decoded that the G in “Jimmy G. Buckets” stands for “Gray Duck”
