Lander University Department of History and Philosophy Podcast

Congratulations to Ms. Gemma Perez for winning New Teacher of the Year at Greenwood High School. I interviewed her back in July just before she started the year there and now I'm checking in to see what she learned and what the secret of her success is.

For today's interview I speak with Lander history alumni Mrs. MaryKate Leggieri and current Assistant Registrar about her career in higher education.

In this episode I interview Mr. JD Whitt who serves as District Executive of Blue Ridge Council for the Boy Scouts of America. In this interview, Mr. Whitt tells us about his job and how being a history major has helped with it. In addition, if you listen to the end you'll be treated to a ghost story!

An interview with Lander University alumni Jesse Garbowski and his experience in Public History

In this interview I talk with Anna Lagrone on her work with Preservation South Carolina, Restore Trinity, and the Abbeville Historic Properties Protection Commission.

In this episode I interview Grayson Peoples about her experience as a volunteer at Musgrove Mill (https://southcarolinaparks.com/musgrove-mill) and her interest in historical preservation. Enjoy!
