Here is a great Uber tip for all of you who didn't ask...if you are ever at something like a concert or sporting event and need an uber ride home, don't stand in the rideshare line. Walk about 3 or 4 blocks from the arena and catch your ride there. You will get your Uber much faster. When I was having some fun driving for Uber, event pickup rides were never worth my time! You don't get paid until the passenger is in the car, so you are wasting time and money sitting in the traffic of the pickup line. Often Uber drivers will give up on you and cancel your ride because the pickup isn't worth it to them. There are many things that simply are not worth it to us, but God wants us to understand that people should always be worth our time. People should always be worth our resources. This week, we look at Luke 18 and 19, and find out just how important people are to our Lord.

If this was my only problem in this world I would live a pretty fantastic life! Unfortunately, this doesn't even remotely compare to the problems in this world, the evil in this world, the tragedy we see. Jesus doesn't sugarcoat the pain that is in this world. He tells us that in this world we will have trouble. So what are we supposed to do when bad things happen?
