I sat down and spoke with Alexa Buday who was an Occupational Therapist for 4-years at two different counties. She explains how she was traveling to multiple schools throughout the year and it was hard to her to feel a sense of community within the schools. Alexa opened up about her breaking point that caused her to switch careers with no backup plan or job lined up. She now finds herself in a successful Sr. Recruiter role where she helps recruit various nursing, allied and therapy jobs at Host Healthcare, Inc.

I sat down and spoke with Beth Grace who was a former Special Education teacher with 11 total years of teaching before making her transition out of the classroom and the impact her family had on her decision. Beth now finds herself in Project Management as a Systems Administrator with Brooksource.

I sat down and spoke with Andrea Harding who was a middle school and high school science teacher for 5-years as we talked about some of the hard decisions to leave the classroom and why that decision has been so great for her and her family. She now finds herself working as a Covid-19 Traveler's Health Project Coordinator for the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

I sat down with former teacher, Julia Scott, who previously taught Advanced English in Spain before coming back into the states and teaching for 6-years. She has now pivoted out of the classroom and finds herself as a Learning & Development Specialist for Alarm.com

I sat down with former English teacher, Rachel Best, as she describes her teaching experience overseas in Madrid and that transition over to the US classrooms. Rachel has had the interesting journey to leave education where she now finds herself as Account Development and Client Relations role with Xodus Healthcare Technology Group.

I sat down and spoke with former Elementary School Teacher (K-3) of 15 years, Stephanie Osterhouse, who speaks about her classroom experience and how the transferrable skills have allowed her great success as an Implementation Success Specialist with Really Great Reading.

I sat down with former Spanish teacher Ariel Aiono-Netzler as she discussed her move across the country to join a new school system and become a 3rd-grade teacher. She highlighted the process she had to go through in order to transition from the classroom to her new and fulfilling career as a Learning and Development Manager.

I sat down with former Elementary School Teacher of 6 years, Kelli Taranto, as she discusses some of the emotional and tough decisions she had to face when deciding to leave the classroom. She talks about the first-hand experience she got into her roommates professions who had careers outside of the classroom during the Pandemic. She now finds herself in a successful new role as a Training Specialist.
