Erin Morris is an Army veteran and former Major in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.  She spent nine years in the Army and deployed to Afghanistan in 2013 with the 101st Airborne Division.  Since leaving the Army, Erin continues to practice law in Colorado where she lives with her husband, also an Army veteran, and her family.  In her free time, Erin volunteers to support through various outreaches and is the legal adviser to a veteran-support non-profit in Texas.  Erin also enjoys traveling and adventuring in the great outdoors.

Today I will be interviewing L.A. Kefalos. L.A. was born and raised in Barberton, OH. After high school, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron. She has worked for a number of companies specializing in automation controls, including Goodyear Tire where she specialized in machine control engineering. This job allowed her to travel the world! Today she works as Lead Automation Engineer for a company in the entertainment industry.

Today I will be interviewing Ronda Wojcicki, speech language pathologist and children’s book author of Speech Class Rules.

Speech Class Rules was created with the vision of educating everyone about speech therapy. Today I will be interviewing Lori Orlinsky, author of the book Being Small (Isn’t So Bad at All). She is a writer, member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, marketing director, and mom who lives in Chicago. She was inspired to tell this story after her own real life experiences raising two little ladies.

Being Small is a picture book about a little girl who is scared to go to school because she's the shortest kid in the class. She talks about all of the reasons that being short is a challenge, but her mother presents to her funny and unique advantages that only she has because of her height, instilling self-confidence in her.

Author and educator, Jennifer Beland has 20 years of experience as a teacher and administrator of children with disabilities and within the mental health field. She holds a Masters of Education from Cambridge College and a B.S. in Psychology from Bridgewater State College. She has worked in both a school setting with students with disabilities, as well as within a private hospital setting.  She has also served as Fellow to the College of Education Teacher Preparation Advisory Board at University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
