Cs: Chladný zimní vzduch obklopoval Karlův most, kde se za chvíli měl odvíjet příběh dvou sourozenců, Zdenka a Ivany.
En: The cold winter air surrounded Karlův most, where the story of two siblings, Zdenek and Ivana, was about to unfold.
Cs: Bylo Silvestra a Praha zářila svátečními světly.
En: It was New Year's Eve, and Prague was glowing with festive lights.
Cs: Zdenek a Ivana se setkali uprostřed mostu, každý plný vlastních emocí.
En: Zdenek and Ivana met in the middle of the bridge, each filled with their own emotions.
Cs: "Musíme to udělat jednoduše," řekl Zdenek, koukající na řeku Vltavu, která tiše tekla pod mostem.
En: "We need to keep it simple," said Zdenek, looking at the Vltava River, which quietly flowed beneath the bridge.

En: They carefully placed both together into the lantern.

En: The clock struck twelve, and the sky exploded with colorful fireworks.
