Job 29-31 is very interesting, with clear and vivid distinctions between Job’s former life and current misery, three separate categories of potential sin, longing to be in God’s presence, and again declaring his innocence.

From the beginning, we have not seen justice on earth. Wrongdoers are not charged or punished. We seek wisdom and no person or animal on earth can find it, but God alone knows where it is. The fear of the Lord is wisdom. It cannot be bought or found except through the fear of the Lord.

Job 21-23 Does God always reward the righteous with prosperity? Does the level of our faith determine how easy our life will be? Do the wicked receive the punishment they deserve? In this passage, we find truth that coincides with John 16:33, Psalm 37:4, Matthew 5:45, and Philippians 4:7.
