If the first thing out of your bank every month is your tithe, you are going to be focused on God. Today, Pastor Ron will encourage you to put God first in everything you do. When you seek the Kingdom of God first, then everything that you are searching for will be given to you. 

Have you ever been jealous because it seems like God is blessing someone who doesn’t deserve it? Jealousy is dangerous, especially in the body of Christ. It can cause division, strife, and anger towards others. It can make you become mad towards other people and ultimately towards God because He isn’t giving you the same reward. Today, Pastor Ron will encourage you to get rid of your jealousy and rejoice anytime you see God move in someone’s life because He is good. 

What do you do when you are in a situation that seems impossible to fix? Your car won’t start, your health isn’t getting better, or your marriage is falling apart. What options do you have if you’ve already sought out a mechanic, a doctor, or a therapist and nothing seems to be getting better? Today, Pastor Ron will encourage you to seek the Lord in situations that can’t be fixed on their own. If you think it’s impossible, pray to God. When you believe in faith and give God your problems, He can fix anything. 

Does it ever feel like every time something good is going on in your life, it’s always followed by something that takes away from it? You get a promotion, but then your car breaks down. You are celebrating a birthday, and then attending a funeral. Today, Pastor Ron will remind you that life will have both mountaintops and valleys. God will give you victories, and Satan will try to rob them from you. Remember the good things that God has done in your life when you are in the valley, and it will help you persevere. 

When we look at the lives of the followers of Jesus, there were many times when the Apostles didn’t fully understand the bigger picture. Even after Jesus said He would die on the cross and rise again, they were confused, and when He was arrested, they dispersed. It wasn’t until they saw Him alive three days later that they realized He wasn’t just a man, but the Son of God. They lived for Him and eventually died for Him, all so we could have the Gospel of Jesus. Today, Pastor Ron invites you to make Jesus your Lord and Savior.

Have you ever gone on social media and seen someone respond to sad news with the phrase "Thoughts and Prayers"? While many use the term "prayer" as a form of wishful thinking, there is real power behind it. Prayer isn't just a way to ask God for what we want; it’s a means of communicating with Him. Today, Pastor Ron encourages you to take a chance on Jesus, even if your faith is small. All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed, and if your prayer aligns with the will of God, it will be done!

Probably you wouldn’t dare to come straight out and “correct” Jesus on something. Where Jesus makes a statement, you wouldn’t say, “No, Jesus, that’s not right!”. But today, Pastor Ron gives an example where one of Jesus’s own disciples, Peter, did exactly that. Peter took Jesus aside and rebuked Him for saying that He was going to die. That may seem foolish to you today, because you know the end of the story. But have you ever resisted, in a more subtle way, Jesus’s clear instructions to you? 

There’s no shortage today of ideas about Jesus. There are some people who are pretty hostile to Him because of His message. But there are many who have very positive things to say about Him, but still fall short of “Messiah”. Today, Pastor Ron shows that people today aren’t much different than those who heard Jesus in person. A lot of people thought very highly of Him. He was a great prophet, a great teacher, a great leader, even a great example. But who did Peter say He was? And who do YOU say He is?

When you’re doing something to serve God, and you have plenty of skill, lots of experience, and abundant resources, it’s pretty easy. But what happens when you’re not up to the task, and you know it? Today, Pastor Ron shows how Jesus put His disciples in that position when He asked them to feed thousands of people with a tiny amount of food. He knew He had given them an impossible task – a humanly impossible task. God actually wants to pull you beyond your abilities, so your only choice is to trust Him.

If you’ve ever learned how to throw a ball or to play a musical instrument, you probably had someone who showed you how to do it. Even simple skills, like tying your shoes or brushing your teeth, you learned by watching someone and then imitating them. Today, Pastor Ron shows that Jesus employed this same method in training His disciples. They watched what He did, and listened to what He said. When you’re reading Jesus’s words and actions from the New Testament, He’s teaching you, too.
