When we surrender ALL areas of our lives over to God, we get the blessings of having God rule and run our lives! And we get the peace of knowing God is taking care of ALL our worries! God is more than capable of handling the stress that comes with our finances, families, social life, and everything in between. We get the chance to hand those anxieties over to God and let Him give us peace! In today’s message, Pastor Ron will encourage you to consecrate your life and watch how God blesses your decision!

God created us in a very specific and special way, with the intention for us to have free will. He didn’t make us into robots who follow orders blindly, but conscious people who can choose to make the right choice! When we have the freedom to make the right or wrong choice, we also get the immediate consequence. In today’s message, Pastor Ron will challenge you on what you’re using your free will on. Are you choosing Jesus every day or are you choosing the things of this world instead? 

This life can be challenging and finding peace can feel impossible. When you’re faced with a major choice or obstacle, it may feel like there’s simply no good solution. But, as Pastor Ron will encourage us in today’s message, we don’t need to face these challenges alone. We have a direct line to the Creator of the Universe. He listens to our prayers and speaks to our hearts if we take the time to listen. He’s all-knowing and all-powerful and provides peace and wisdom for those who put their faith in Him.

As Pastor Ron will explain in today’s message, God has a divine timetable regarding the Church. He wants all to come to Him, but He knows that not all will, and Scripture indicates that He has a set number for how many will come to Him. Once we reach that number, He’ll send Jesus back to bring about the end of this world as we know it and usher in His eternal plan to restore Heaven and earth and bring judgment on those who have rejected Him and chosen to serve self instead.

God has not forgotten about the Jewish nation. He loves them and set them apart to be a blessing to the nations of the world. While many have rejected the Messiah He sent, there are those whose hearts have softened and will be softened to see the truth of who Jesus is. God’s plan of redemption is actively underway and as Pastor Ron will remind us today, we are greatly privileged to be a part of it as Gentiles – grafted into the family of God because of the incredible work of Jesus on the cross.

Where does God want you? For some, this is an easy answer, but for others, it can feel like a mystery. Sometimes God gives us a passion and He wants to use it for His purposes. Other times, He gives us a passion but asks us to lay it down in submission to His greater plan. Discerning this can be a challenge, but as Pastor Ron will encourage us in today’s message, it’s okay to make mistakes. It’s important that you’re willing to acknowledge when you’ve gone the wrong way and allow God to redirect you.

Fervor for a cause doesn’t make it true or good. There have been many examples of this through the centuries. Many of the Jews who lived during Jesus’ earthly ministry were very loyal to their faith. But, as Pastor Ron will clarify in today’s message, their faith was misplaced. They were trusting in their own ability to follow the laws of God, instead of trusting in the promises God had made to them. Their hearts were closed off and hardened and they completely missed the Messiah they longed for.

This doctrine is known as “replacement theology”. Many in the Church acknowledge that Israel is God’s chosen nation with an important role to play in His plan for this world. But there are subtle elements of this false doctrine that have crept into our ranks. As Pastor Ron will point out in today’s message, to deny Israel’s position is to ignore many clear promises and prophecies in Scripture. The Church has not replaced Israel, and God will come through on His promises to this nation.

The theory of evolution and the origin of species is a theory. It’s man’s effort to reason away our need for a Creator. As Pastor Ron will point out in today’s message, the irony of it all is that it requires far more faith to believe in this so-called scientific theory. It requires massive unproven assumptions to connect the dots in the fossil records and to hypothesize how life came to be in its most basic form. It relies on an impossibly coincidental collision of the right elements and environmental influences.

There’s been controversy and debate through the years over who Jesus was and what His purpose was. Some have argued He was just a wise, magnetic teacher who drew people in with relatable stories. They may claim that His miracles were simply exaggerated or made up. But, as Pastor Ron continues our study of the book of Romans in today’s message, we’ll be reminded of the foundational truth of Christianity. Jesus was and is God and He came with the central purpose of saving us from our sin.
