As time went on, Abraham and Sarah began to feel a bit anxious, letting doubts creep in about God’s promise. They decided to accomplish those promises in their own way. But it just didn't pan out. In just the right moment, Sarah found herself expecting a little one. It seems you could be in a situation not too different from theirs. Today, Pastor Ron is here to remind you that God’s timing is just perfect. He will always show up. And you can count on Him to always keep His promises because He’s faithful!

When the folks in Sodom had their sights set on the angels sent by God, Lot stepped in, hoping to protect them. He decided to take a different route by finding common ground with the people. He was ready to hand over his virgin daughters to the mob. Have you ever thought about the moments when you compromise and do something that doesn’t quite align with what God wants? Today, Pastor Ron encourages you to break free from a life of compromise and to trust in God through every situation!

Practicing rituals like communion or baptism does not provide salvation. In and of themselves, they’re just physical actions that symbolize a spiritual work. God is the one who does the spiritual work. As Pastor Ron will remind us in today’s message, Jesus died on the cross – allowing His body to be broken and His blood to be shed for us. His Holy Spirit comes and brings new life as we lay down our sinful nature in an act of surrender and allow Him to raise up a new nature within us.

What are the names that you’ve been given by God? When you trust in His Son, Jesus, He calls you His son or daughter. Because Jesus bore your sins, He calls you righteous and clean. And when He created mankind, He called His creation good. As Pastor Ron will point out in today’s message, we often don’t feel like God’s perfect, dearly loved Children. We know we still stumble, and that’s all we can see sometimes. But God wants you to rest in who He’s made you to be, not in what you do. 

There’s a popular myth that the phrase “fear not” appears in the Bible three hundred and sixty-five times. While it’s a nice idea, that makes for clever posts on social media, it’s just not accurate. But that’s not to say that this command isn’t frequently reiterated by Scripture, including Jesus Himself. It varies by translation but shows up in the King James Version around seventy times. As Pastor Ron will point out in today’s message, this command should be a comfort to us, and we can take it to heart.

As we’re later told in Galatians chapter 6, if we “see a brother fallen into sin, we… ought to seek to restore him.” Every single believer has been brought into the family of God through an incredible act of grace. All of us were born into sin and have spent much of our lives serving ourselves and rejecting God’s will. Yet, He went to incredible lengths to redeem us. As Pastor Ron will encourage us in today’s message, we need to seek out restoration for our brothers and sisters when we see them in sin.

Following God’s will requires patience and faith to a supernatural degree. He is all-knowing and can see where He’s leading and how it fits in His grander plan. From our perspective, it can look like we’re headed for a dead-end, but He knows what He’s doing, and we can trust in His wisdom and goodness. As Pastor Ron will encourage you in today’s message, find rest and peace as you wait on God’s answers. If you’ve aligned your heart with His will, you can trust that He will always come through.

We live in a world that’s full of temptation, suffering, and struggle, and it’s impossible to walk the narrow way of Jesus without facing some of that head-on. As Pastor Ron will encourage us in today’s message, the trials we face can be faced with confidence and joy as opportunities to grow in our faith, not to cower in fear.

Have you been in that place of loneliness? Perhaps you’re there right now… feeling disconnected – like you just don’t belong. That’s a lie from the enemy of your soul. All of us are welcome and can find belonging and identity as a Child of God. As Pastor Ron will remind us in today’s message, because of Jesus, we can be made brothers or sisters in His family, with all the rights that He enjoys as God’s Son. That is an incredible gift, and it’s available simply by placing our faith in Jesus.

When we look at some of the leaders we’ve had in our country and in many other places around the world, it can be easy to question God’s role in assigning leaders and rulers. Could He really have been responsible for instituting harsh dictators or authoritarians who carried out vile acts? As Pastor Ron will point out in today’s message, sometimes God allows things in this life for purposes that we simply can’t understand, but we need to submit to His authority, trusting that His will is perfect.
