DJ Blown began immersing himself in the EDM scene in 2008, transitioning to DJing in 2011 and producing music in 2014. In 2019, he furthered his skills at the Icon Collective Music Production School in Los Angeles, CA. Hailing from Glendale and raised in Santa Clarita, CA, he relocated to Hollywood at 17, where his passion for electronic dance music blossomed. He recently returned to Las Vegas, NV, and is part of the Rage and Recover Collective. His musical style spans dubstep, drum and bass, and other genres. His stage name originated from his teenage baseball days. Doomsayer, also known as Brad Wayne, hails from Knoxville, TN, and is recognized as a DJ and Producer. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nate played weekly on the beach, creating a unique experience for partygoers with silent disco sets. On these sandy shores, he crossed paths with Kenton McDougall, aka Flow Chucker, a fellow DJ and producer. This encounter would eventually lead Nate to perform at the prestigious Metatronica Festival.

But the story doesn't end there. Nate's journey took an unexpected turn when he met Thor Wixom, the leading steadicam operator for Insomniac, the powerhouse behind some of the world's most significant EDM events. Thor recognized Nate's talent and invited him to join the Insomniac team, forever changing the course of his career.

Nate's musical journey reached new heights when he released his debut track on JackEL's label, solidifying his position in the industry as a Tech House force to be reckoned with. Today, he continues to make waves with his regular Techno event every 2nd Thursday at the Air Conditioned Lounge in San Diego.

Antvendetta's journey into the world of music began at a remarkably young age. At just ten years old, he was already experimenting with being a DJ, thanks to the guidance of his cousin, who introduced him to the art of DJing. This early exposure ignited a passion within him that would ultimately shape his destiny.

As he grew older, Antvendetta recognized the importance of honing his skills further. He embarked on a formal education in music production, equipping himself with the technical know-how to create the very beats that would get crowds moving. However, it was only in the iconic Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) events of 2015 and 2016 that he had a significant revelation. These moments made him reconsider his path and transform his passion into a full-fledged career.

In 2017 and 2018, Antvendetta's hard work and dedication paid off as he took center stage at the renowned Electric Zoo festival. His performances there were a testament to his musical talents and a reflection of his business acumen as he successfully managed his promotional company, setting the stage for his rise in the EDM world.

The year 2020 brought unprecedented challenges to the music industry due to the global pandemic. Antvendetta faced the harsh reality of New York's strict COVID policies, which made it exceedingly difficult to operate his promotion company and be a DJ. Moreover, he couldn't help but notice a shift in the energy of the crowds post-pandemic, with the plur (peace, love, unity, respect) ethos of the EDM community seeming somewhat diminished.

Antvendetta shares some of the most remarkable experiences from his journey as a DJ in this episode. He takes us back to the electrifying atmosphere of Minus Zero, where he performed at the same festival with legends like Illenium and Seven Lions. Additionally, he recounts the unforgettable night when he graced the stage at Roseland Ballroom in the heart of New York City, sharing the limelight with the Bingo Players.

Antvendetta leaves us with a valuable piece of advice he received from Illenium during his early days as a DJ: "Never give up." It's a mantra that has guided him through the highs and lows of his career, inspiring his music and his unwavering determination to keep the EDM spirit alive.
