Juno nominated musician Ted Peters is doing something SUPER COOL this weekend in Downtown Oshawa!  He's bringing his own take on a Second Line (a traditional celebratory brass band parade deeply rooted in the culture of New Orleans) and bringing it right here to DTO! Lasha talks to Ted about how you can participate in this cool event, his career in the music industry, and Oshawa as a music city.

One day, Lasha will figure out how to get the mic levels sorted out, but until then, you might have to fool around with the volume knob.

Oshawa City Councillor and former Oshawa Italian Club Youth Dancer, Tito-Dante Marimpietri returns to the show to discuss Oshawa's Week of Fun (Fiesta Week), a beloved Oshawa tradition that's not only in it's 52nd year, but is also Canada's longest running multicultural festival!  FUN!!! 

Both Councillor Marimpietri and Lasha have been participating in Fiesta Week at their respective cultural pavilions since they were born and are excited to tell you about all the incredible things to see, do and EAT.

Lasha is going to be DANCING in Dancing With The Easter Seals Stars Durham on May 1st!!!! This could be the most spectacular display of amateur dancing ever, or it could be a total disaster.  BUT only good comes out of raising money for such an incredible cause as Easter Seals! 

Lasha's guest is fellow 'Shwa Girl and Development Officer at Easter Seals, Andrea Prentice-Peterson!  They discuss the event itself, as well as how important fundraising is for the amazing kids that benefit from the hundred-year-old mission of Easter Seals.

Raised in the Spiritualist church, he has ties to that "world" but has chosen to rely on the more pragmatic style of research - use of logic. Dave has lead the team on hundreds of investigations, with numerous team partnerships included across Ontario, NE and Mid United States and overseas.
