In honor of May being Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I wanted to take the opportunity to share my experience as an Asian American competing in pageants and how it has made me the person I am today.

We are excited to welcome our first guest interview for Lashes and Sashes - Frida Fornander Garcia, Miss Universe Sweden 2017 and Co-Founder of Blooma Co!

In this episode, we go through her entire journey of pageantry, from going to Guatemala at 15 to competing at Miss Universe and now building her American Dream.

How can we improve the pageant industry as a whole for titleholders, directors, contestants, and staff?
