What if reality is not where we think it is?
In this episode of the Transhumation series, we explore a simple but unsettling question. A person is sitting on a train, traveling somewhere. Everything feels normal. But suddenly a strange thought appears:
Where is this person actually?
Are they inside a train moving through physical space?
Or are they already inside a network of systems, signals, and digital layers that shape their perception of reality?
For most of human history reality was simple.
You were where your body was.
The world was physical, stable, and unquestionable.
But technology is beginning to change that.
Today we live inside invisible systems:
networks, algorithms, virtual environments, digital identities.
As technology advances, humanity approaches a moment when the boundary between physical reality and digital existence may dissolve.
If consciousness can exist inside a virtual environment, then a deeper philosophical question emerges:
What does reality actually mean?
This episode explores the moment when reality stops being obvious — and becomes a question again.
