In June of 2024, Chinese Influencer Yan Ruimin - known for her sporty persona and flashy lifestlye - had posted online that she was travelling to Bangkok soon, and would be happy to invite and pay for someone to travel with her. But just days after arriving in Thailand, she had lost contact with friends and family, prompting local authorities to take action; ultimately piecing together when she was last seen in Bangkok.
