We've finally reached our true form which is just talking about utter fucking nonsense for an hour at a time :) Min found a website that would generate one of those wheels that spins and picks something, and we filled it with our weird fixations that we think need to be talked about. Hadar attempts to give a full synopsis of the TV show "Chuck" and Min apparently knows a lot more about ear cleaning than any of us ever suspected. Many more insane topics are covered and frankly it's a hoot so you simply must listen <3
We simply had to start off with a controversial topic--Harry Styles' latest fîlme... My Policeman. As soon as it was announced the allegations were FLYING: is it copaganda???? Is it homophobic?? Is Harry gay?? Is he QUEERBAITING??????????? Amazingly for you all, we (mostly Hadar) know a disgusting amount about Harry Styles the man the myth the legend, and we also both read the book and saw the movie. We did our fucking Homework for this shit. We're coming in hot with our takes on everything from Harry's birth chart to the symbolism of the ocean.
You can follow us on Instagram @lasttwobraincellspod :) If you're feeling sPiCy you can send us a voice note, if we get some good ones perhaps we'll do a bonus follow up episode responding to them. You can also send a voice note with a suggestion for future episode topics.
And.... we have a Patreon!!! You can sign up for access to ad-free episodes, a patrons-only Discord chat, and lots of other exciting treats!
This is just a small taste of the chaos that is to come. We're dissociating, we're bullying each other, we're bullying ourselves, we're bullying YOU..... This? is girlbossing.
We have started a podcast and now it's everyone's problem. Godspeed <3
Completely unknowingly, I recorded several episodes all about periods. Which, looking back, isn't very shocking at all considering I have PCOS which is an endocrine disorder that heavily affects the menstrual cycle. So now we have a mini-series! This week I had Tiffany Williams, a functional nutritional therapy practitioner (FNTP), talk about periods, the keto diet (YES AGAIN LMAO), and big words like gluconeogenesis. You can follow her on Instagram at @tiffanywilliamsfntp or check out her website at sageflowholistic.com.
As always, you can reach me at @dykechef on Instagram or on my website at hadarkaly.com.

I know people don't wanna hear it but ... the ketogenic diet is literally just an eating disorder. Most diets are also just eating disorders, but that's a topic for another episode. There's lots of ground to cover so let's buckle up. Trigger warning for discussion of eating disorder behaviors.
Exposing the fashion-career-to-culinary-world pipeline, queer by queer. Parisa talks about being a (gender)queer Iranian working in fashion in the '90s and '00s in NYC and how that turned into making tahdig not war on Tastemade decades later. Alternatively: a queer Middle Eastern Gen X-er and a queer Middle Eastern Gen Z-er walk into a Zoom call...

Aaaaaaand we're back! Here's 30+ minutes of me explaining why I ~rebranded~ the podcast after a [redacted] amount of time stressing about what the hell to do with it. PLUS I learned that royalty free music exists and now I have a cute little intro and outro so you don't just have to listen to me breathe heavily into the microphone. Yes, someday I will remember to not hold it directly in front of my mouth and hopefully the sound quality will improve at that point.
