After the thrilling conclusion of the NLDS between the Dodgers and Nationals, we are ready to move on to our League Championship Series preview. The Blue Jays and Indians have very little separating them, so which one comes out on top in what is sure to be a hotly contested playoff series? On the National League side, the Cubs are looking to end the long standing curse of the billy goat to win their first pennant since 1945 and the Dodgers are hoping to ride their battered pitching staff to the World Series. Joe Hojnacki and Greg Hessen give their takes on this round of the playoffs and tell you who should win.

Who’s to say a small market team can’t be successful? That a team from a midmarket city can’t build a roster or a culture? The Northwest Division offers a diverse class of organizations, committed to staying near or below the salary cap while maintaining high expectations.

Austin and Dante examine the group in this episode’s divisional preview, beginning with the advantages and limitations of midmarket teams. The two follow their normal layout by answering five burning questions on the division – including the team with the best chance at landing the next big free agent and the most exciting player or team to watch this season (hint: Russell Westbrook is involved). They’ll predict divisional standings and touch on the spiritual journey Tom Thibodeau went on to discover an offense.

The guys are back as they record on the brink of Nail Yakupov trade from the Edmonton Oilers to the St. Louis Blues, as well as the Oilers' signing of Kris Russell. The guys touch on where the St. Louis Blues are as a franchise, with all of the changes to their lineup this offseason.

Central Division this past season and off-season as a number of new faces are

Teague, there are new leaders in the locker-room for some already successful

teams. The Cleveland Cavaliers may not have as easy of a road to division title

as they have had in recent years past.

Like last week’s Atlantic Division preview, Austin and Dante

begin with the central theme of the division. This week, they examine the

future of the league’s position with the Milwuakee Bucks leading the charge as

a position-less team. Following a discussion of other teams’ structures, the

two answer five different questions from last preview, including “Which teams "rebuild" will work better – Indiana or

Chicago?” and “Who was the best draft pick in this year’s class?” They wrap up

the preview with a discussion of standings predictions and of the different power

dynamics throughout the division.

The guys are back as they celebrate their 100th episode, with Joel getting to eat cake. They touch on Canada's rout at the World Cup and what it means for the future of the tournament, the suspensions players have received this preseason and preview the Metropolitan division.

This weekend was the 4th Line Podcast fantasy draft, so they cover their teams and Joel and his team have already been accused of collusion.
