The show starts out with Patrick, Abdul, and Jayson talking about the MLB and the Baltimore Orioles record. Jayson goes on to talk about the Baltimore Ravens and their attempts at revolutionizing the NFL quarterback. Then, the guys discuss how Patrick broke the story of Willie Taggart leaving Florida state and how they’re now attempting to get rid of him faster. The hour ends with the guys talking about the first ringtones that they had on their phones.

The second hour starts with Patrick and Abdul talking about Trent Williams and him refusing to come back to the Redskins. Jayson chimes in with talk of Shaquem Griffin and his story. Then, Abdul talks about the musician Bobby Feeno and the guys talk about working out together. The guys talk about their experience in sports radio and what they’ve done. The hour ends with a crazy giveaway because of phone troubles and hilarity ensues.

They go on to talk about the players coming out of college into the Texans roster and Duke Johnson’s career stats. Then, the guys talk of third-round picks and how important they can be. Patrick, Abdul, and Jayson talk of Robert Quinn being tested for an illegal substance that is a part of his seizure medication and being suspended. The hour ends with the guys talking about Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys.

As the second hour of the show starts they discuss the upcoming matchup between the Houston Texans and the Green Bay Packers for the first preseason game of the season. AJ McCarron injured his thumb in practice and he is shut down for the rest of the preseason, who is getting the most playing time during preseason? Then they talk about what quarterback should be signed after the McCarron injury. Houston’s offensive line this year is the biggest thing they need to improve on, the crew gives their opinions on what they need to do in order to improve. To end the show they transition into the post-retirement life of Arian Foster and his recent endeavors.

Recently the Houston Astros had a game and won 4-3, Patrick discusses the events that happened in the game. It was Zach Grenkies first game and they analyzed how he meshed with the current core. So far Justin Verlander has the 5th best ERA in the MLB. Poker Champion Chris Moneymaker is in the house and he will join the show in the next hour since the crew is out at Texas Card House. They transition to other news that is happening in the MLB and then they rate the Astros chances of winning the World Series. When he joins he discusses his history in the poker game and highlights his great experience. He also stated that he used to hate playing Texas Hold ‘em.

The guys start the second and final hour of the show discussing Jadeveon Clowney and how the Texans or some other teams are going to have to pay him. They continue on talking about Jadeveon Clowney and how much do they think he is worth compared to how much other players of his caliber are getting paid. The guys end the show talking some Astros and how well they have been doing as of late and how Yuli is trying to make his hit streak to 19 games.

The guys kick off the first hour of the show discussing the Hall of Fame game being on tonight and talk about if they are excited about or not and how much they miss football. The guys talk about Brian Cushing doing Karate and how he is such a nice guy even though he seems pretty mean on the field. Jayson Braddock and the guys talk about Texans training camp and how it has gone so far. They finish the first hour talking about the Dallas Cowboys.
