Late Hits starts off recapping the ESPN Listener Party; it was a fun time according to Pat. Pat gets into the Astros and their next upcoming games. Johnny Manziel’s debut start doesn’t live up to the hype and it becomes a topic on the show. Pat talks a bit about the upcoming NFL season.

Patrick gives some preview on what to expect during the listener appreciation party tomorrow at the station, and what Bill O’Brien has in store for the Texans in 2018\. In the last half hour, comparing NFL QBs and what chemistry the Astros need to repeat last year’s success.

Patrick recaps the Astros’ win today and who stepped up big, plus what may come of trade acquisitions for the Astros and other MLB teams. In the next half hour, Pat discusses Urban LEYER’s changing stories on knowing about his former assistant’s domestic violence history. Also, why you need to stop being so hyped about Melo coming to Houston.

The second hours starts off with football talk as it was announced that the Texans won’t extend Clowney, at least not yet. Patrick invites a guest, local comedian Foxxy, to join the show. She brings adult toys to the studio.

Late Hits starts off for a Friday with Pat talking Astros. He gets into the some Wild Card scenarios as the MLB playoff picture start to take some sort of shape. Pat gets into some Rocket’s basketball as the big news of the day is resigning Clint Capela to a five year deal. Pat also brings up his displeasure in the potential signing of Carmelo Anthony. Football season is around the corner, and Pat gives his thoughts on the Texan’s training camp so far. Pat ponders who the top receivers in the NFL are and where DeAndre Hopkins falls in that realm.

Patrick starts the final hour reminiscing about his cruise to Cancun Mexico. Patrick asks the audience if there are any local beaches near H-town. Patrick announces that Houston’s own Booker T joins the show. Patrick ends the hour and gives away tickets to “Reality of Wrestling” (Row).

Patrick Creighton starts the show with the Martin Maldonado acquisition for the Astros from the Angels. Patrick gets into the game between the Rockies vs. Astros and the inept offense and the aftermath following loss. Patrick discusses the left over relievers left that the Astros could acquire. Patrick focuses on Alex Bregman and his dealings with his twitter dealings with a television weatherman. Patrick announces possible news that Cole Hamels is right on the cusp of landing with the Cubs. Patrick asks and ends the hour with the question “Do the Astros need to make a move or stand pat?”

The second hour starts with Rockets talk and the potential move of acquiring Carmelo Anthony. Pat expresses his disapproval of the move and why he thinks it will be a bad move on the Rocket’s part. Pat gets back into the Astros. Pat ponders on who the Astros should trade for. Pat ends the show talking about concerts.

Late Hits starts off with Astros baseball talk and his vacation he took; he’s badly sunburned. Pat discusses the pitching rotation and bullpen. Pat also discusses the batting order and who should bat where. Joe Duarte from the Houston Chronicle joins the show to talk UH Football.
