The Church Gal Crew is leading the way to Salvation at Mt. Zion Holiness Church. Feisty Natalia Freemon is the “head” of the crew. Rebellious and outspoken, she has no problems challenging the church status quo. Years later however, her loss of faith will tragically impact her life.

Jones studied at Capella University, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s of Science in Higher Education Leadership Administration, where she is also an ambassador and distinguished scholarly researcher. Jones is exiting an education career to venture into more marketing through her magazine, which is presently being divided into several phases to meet the demands of her clients. May 1, 2017, she launched the first phase of what she calls the four rivers, and the first of the four is the River & Word Business Connection. Jones’s Business Connection phase was headlined by Wall Street’s Bill Rearden and 8 figure Jeffrey Feldberg. Jones hopes to venture into public speaking, to encourage the people of God, and share her powerful testimony of how she was unjustly laid off, with two daughters and unable to find work. YaLonda was born and reared in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Her love for music and her musical gift emerged from a long lineage of musical giftedness. YaLonda’s maternal great grandmother and great aunts along with her paternal grandmother sang in musical groups throughout her childhood. YaLonda sang her first solo in church at the age of eight and knew by the ago of 12 she wanted a career in the music industry.
She attributes some of her inspiration to her home church, Glendale SDA Church, where she had the privilege of hearing powerful singing groups like The Remnants, The Demps & Taylor Families, Ngozi, songwriter and composer, Louis Boney and the Glendale Church Choir which was under the direction of YaLonda’s earliest voice teacher, Cloie Logan. YaLonda’s childhood dream was to sing like the late Whitney Houston at Carnegie Hall. Her favorite musical genre is gospel. Urban Christian Artist LaTonya Coleman aka Lady T , once used her gifts and talents to glorify the secular world until she found Christ. She now uses her spiritual gifts and talents to glorify God thru music and ministry. She is a part of a Urban Christian street ministry team known as “TEAM GO URBAN MINISTRIES” where a group of Men and women of God go out into the streets and spread the gospel thru their musical gifts, dance, and ministry. LaTonya is also a domestic violence survivor and advocate. Her story is one that many young women can relate to. Her testimony is expressed mostly thru rap, spoken word, and Worship. Her mission is to fulfill the calling that God has placed on her life. That is a calling to go out and draw others to Jesus Christ thru Love.
LaTonya currently has an upcoming album entitled “EARS HAVE NOT HEARD” that is scheduled to be released Sept 2, 2017. Her hit single LET THE GUITAR SING is currently in rotation at local radio stations in Jackson Ms. She considers herself to be an “urban” Christian Artist because of her hip hop background and culture she grew up in. She doesn’t consider herself just a RAP artist because she articulates the GOSPEL message in her music in various ways. Sometimes she feels like preaching on a beat, other times she may feel like praising and worshipping on a beat.
