The Divine Church of Deliverance celebrates the 16th Pastoral Anniversary honoring their pastor the Reverend Virginia Singleton, and her husband, Deacon Ernest Singleton, Sr. The worship experience will be held on Sunday, September 4th, 4:00 pm at Savannah Grove Baptist Church, the Reverend Dr. Ralph W. Canty, speaker. PastorSingleton received her Divine call to preach the gospel and was licensed into ministry in 1986 by her pastor, the late Reverend James Johnson, Jr. of Carver Street Baptist Church. She began to serve as associate minister and served in many other capacities within the Pee Dee Baptist Association, as well as the church. Following the death of Pastor Johnson, under the leadership of their new pastor, the Reverend Rufus Garvin, she served as assistant minister and was ordained on August 19, 1990, at Savannah Grove Baptist Church; making her the second female to be ordained into the gospel ministry by t! he Pee Dee Baptist Association. Pastor Singleton continued to labor faithfully in the vineyard serving within the church, as well as the association, until God spoke to her two months prior to calling her to the pastorate of the Divine Church of Deliverance where she has been and continues to be a faithful servant for almost sixteen years.
Pastor Singleton is a published author with Kingdom Builders Publications, LLC, and she has individual materials published with several other publishers. For May 2016, she was the featured pastor interviewed by a very prominent inspirational Magazine Founder and Owner, Kimmie Robinson, of eLation Magazine; and also featured her interview. God has blessed her and she has been hosting her own "Transforming Lives Bible Radio" Ministry since February this year with very high ratings...the show broadcasts live out of Baltimore, Maryland, and reaches globally by way of Internet; Facebook; Twitter; iTunes; PositivePower21.org; JerryRoyceLive World! wide Podcast Channel 14; and Spreaker Radio; Broadcaster Brother Jerry Royce, Deacon Chuck Singleton, Producer. She is a board member for Pen of a Ready Writer's Society and is the City Coordinator for the PRWS Florence Chapter, Min. Louise Smith is CEO and Founder. Pastor Singleton served as Conference Director for the Women of Worship Women's Conference. She retired from the Chrysalis Center in 2014 as a Certified Addictions Counselor; past member of the South Carolina Association for Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors; National Association for Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors; volunteer for the Department of Juvenile Justice; and the Hugh Leatherman Senior Citizens Association in Florence; She is also a certified welder.
Pastor Singleton has been married to her high school sweetheart, Deacon Ernest Singleton, for 45 years...they have two sons, Ernest Jr, Charles, and one daughter, Niaja; nine grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. She graduated from West Floren! ce High School in 1972 and Almeda University, Boise, Idaho in 2002 with a 4.0 GPA. She loves God and being a servant in the transformation of God's people. Her motto is: "If I can just help somebody as I travel along the way, then my living shall not be in vain." Her favorite passage of Scripture is: Psalms 34:1 "I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Sherry W. is a gifted artist, songwriter, producer, and CEO of Go Y’all, LLC (Indie label and music publishing company) from Baltimore, Maryland; Married (Raye), and also the mother of fellow artist, Dale Woodley (DLW).

She holds a degree in Mass Communication from the former Community College of Baltimore and majored in piano at Morgan State University. While both of these feats are admirable, her Christian educational pursuits at The University of Family Bible Ministries Worldwide, Inc. have allowed her to be well rounded. It has afforded her the wisdom that only comes from God to succeed in secular society.

THE ARTIST - Tanya Thompson is a first generation Carribean American, born and raised in the Bronx, New York.
Tanya got her start in the performing arts at the tender age of 5 taking classical piano lessons as well
as ballet and tap. The rush Tanya received while on stage was a feeling that would never leave her.
Tanya took her first drama class in high school and it was then that she caught the acting bug! She
did extremely well in that class, so much so that she received the coveted "Drama Award" at her high
school graduation. This gave Tanya the confidence she needed to know that a career in film was her
destiny.
Upon graduation, Tanya set out to find her first acting gig. She landed a background "extra" role in
the FOX hit TV series "NY Undercover" as well as “Law & Order”! The feeling Tanya got on the
set with the cast and crew was like no other. She knew she wanted to do this full time. However,
being from a conservative family, she was encouraged to take a more traditional career path that
would ensure stable salary and benefits.
Tanya took a step away from the spotlight to do just that. She went on to graduate with a Bachelors
Degree in Accounting from Berkeley College. This degree helped her land a "stable job" as an
Accounting Manager working alongside the CFO at the National Academy of Television Arts &
Sciences aka "THE DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS". Tanya worked her way up to Director of
Finance as well as the dual role of Director of Special Events. One of the perks of working with the
"Daytime Emmy Awards" is that Tanya was not only able to help plan the annual red carpet award
show; but she was also able to attend. Every year Tanya would look at the actors of the various
Daytime shows getting awards for what she wanted to do, which was ACT! She no longer wanted to
"play it safe".
Tanya decided to take her career in her own hands and left the Emmys to pursue her acting career
full-time. She has since worked on numerous feature films and has not only been in front of the
camera but has now started working "behind the lens" as well. Tanya has most recently had the honor
of working on three (3) major motion picture feature films as BOTH an ACTRESS & COPRODUCER
– “Where Hearts Lie” starring the incredibly talented Clifton Powell (Ray), Malik
Yoba (Empire), Taral Hicks (A Bronx Tale, Belly), and “The Hills” starring Malik Whitfield (If
Loving You Is Wrong, The Temptations), Claudia Jordan (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Omar
Gooding (Baby Boy, Barber Shop, Smart Guy) and “The Legends of Hip Hop” starring Angie Stone,
Chubb Rock and M.C. Shan. These are just a few of the amazing projects Tanya has had the
opportunity to work on recently. She is using all of her experience she gained as an on-camera
actress as well as her financial/business background from the Emmys to help other Directors bring
their vision to life as one of the Producer's on their projects as well as bring their characters to life as
one of their main actresses on their productions. Tanya’s ability to have a dual-role as
Actress/Producer makes Tanya a very valuable asset on any production she is a part of!
