There are hopes to build a Climatorium in Nelson, based on the same principles as one recently opened in Denmark. The proposed Climatorium is a collaboration between Nelson City Council and a Danish group, supported by Wakatu Incorporation. Wakatu's director Miriana Stephens says while there's a focus on the building that will house the project, it's much more about the concept, and the partnership with Denmark.
