The idea for this video comes from a Holy Face devotee who asked how to sing a particular chant. She sent the photo of a page of a book. I don’t know what book. If you know it, please drop a comment.

This piece seems to have been put together by Dominican nuns from Our Lady of the Rosary Monastery, Summit, New Jersey. In 1983 they released the Summit Choirbook, which I don’t have a copy of, but I think a photocopy from the book ended up circulating in choir circles around Sydney in Australia.

The words are the oldest Marian Antiphon. Here’s a translation:

We fly to thy protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our prayers in our necessities but ever deliver us from every peril, O glorious and blessed Virgin.

The tune is a common Ukrainian hymn tune.

When singing this, I was reading from the Liber Usualis, so the tunes for the readings don't match up very well, but if you can notice the difference, then you probably have skills enough to sing it yourself. Which is a very good thing to do.
