  • The Human Renaissance: Why 2026 Belongs to Leaders Who Feel

What if emotions were your greatest leadership advantage, not your weakness?

In Episode 62 of Latina Mic Drop™, Latina leadership expert Miriam Simon introduces The Human Renaissance, a bold leadership philosophy for 2026 and beyond.

This episode challenges outdated leadership norms that reward emotional suppression, over-polished performance, and disconnection. Instead, Miriam reframes emotions as data, intuition as strategy, and empathy as executive intelligence, especially for BIPOC leaders, Latinas, and leaders who’ve been told they’re “too much.”

Drawing from lived experience in corporate leadership, public service, and identity integration work, Miriam breaks down why:

    • Emotional regulation is a leadership skill
    • Feelings provide real-time information about safety, boundaries, and alignment
    • Intuition is compressed experience, not mysticism
    • Empathy sharpens authority instead of weakening it
    • Identity integration is essential to sustainable leadership performance

If you’ve ever been punished for being human at work, this episode is for you.

    🎙️ You’ll learn:

    • Why 2026 belongs to leaders who feel and lead anyway
    • How to stop taking the bait in hostile or discriminatory environments
    • How to respond with discernment instead of reaction
    • Why human-first leadership is the future of high performance

👉 Take the self-assessment linked in the comments to explore your own leadership integration.

  • Work Didn’t Get Harder, It Got HUMAN: Why Leaders Must Evolve Now

Work didn’t get harder, it got HUMAN.

In this powerful episode of Latina Mic Drop™, Miriam Simon breaks down the truth behind today’s workplace overwhelm: people are not weaker, la gente is waking up. Emotional intelligence isn’t optional anymore, it’s survival.

Miriam shares raw stories from her own leadership journey: navigating triggers, crying in silence, facing bias, being dismissed, and learning how humanity, not perfection, is what elevates real leaders. She unpacks why fear-based leadership is collapsing, why perks aren’t culture, why younger generations refuse toxic norms, and why burnout isn’t a personal failure but a symptom of being chronically undervalued.

You’ll hear the hard truths about modern leadership, the emotional cost of being “professional,” and the difference between working like a robot and leading like a human. If you’ve ever felt unseen, overwhelmed, or pressured to hold everything together while breaking inside, this conversation will validate your experience and empower you to lead differently.

    Key mic drop:

“We’re not here to be robotic, we’re here to be fucking human.”

This episode is a wake-up call, a healing moment, and a movement.

Get ready to feel seen. Get ready to reclaim your voice.

Get ready to lead with your whole humanity.

  • The Cost of Splitting Yourself: Why 2025 Broke Us & 2026 Is the Year of the Undivided Leader™

We’ve been “professional but dying inside.”

In this raw episode, Miriam Simon exposes the real cost of code-switching, masking, shrinking, and performing confidence just to survive the workplace.

2025 didn’t break us, it revealed us.

It showed the burnout, the emotional labor, the lack of humanity in leadership, and the price women of color pay to belong.

    Miriam introduces a new era:

    Identity Integration™ + The Undivided Leader™.

A leadership model where you show up whole, not fragmented, muted, or edited.

If you’re tired of splitting yourself, hiding your identity, or shouldering success that costs your soul… this episode is the start of your healing, reclamation, and rise.

  • They Groped the President. They Groped Me. Now We Do Something About it

They Groped the President. They Groped Me. Now We Do Something About it

This is about power. Real power. The kind that comes from breaking silence.

When Claudia Sheinbaum, Mexico's FIRST woman president, got groped on camera, and when Fatima Bosch got called a "dummy" and kicked out for speaking up, I knew it was time to tell my story.

Because it happened to me too. Three times. In second grade. Going up my apartment stairs. At the copy machine at work. And I never told anyone...until now.

This episode isn't just about what happened to us. It's about what we DO with it. It's about how Sheinbaum pressed charges because "if they do this to the president, what will happen to all the young women in our country?" It's about how Bosch didn't quit; She went on to WIN Miss Universe.

And it's about how every woman who's been violated, dismissed, disrespected, or silenced has a choice: stay quiet or reclaim your fucking power.

    Here's what I learned:

    • Why we don't report (the shame, the confusion, the fear no one will believe us)
    • How silence keeps us stuck and speaking up sets us free
    • Why our community needs to STOP pretending this doesn't happen
    • How the biggest growth comes right after our biggest challenges
    • What it means to show up as a woman in leadership when the world wants you small

If you've been inappropriately touched and stayed quiet, your voice matters. If you've been undermined in the workplace, your power is real. If you carry baggage you've never dealt with, it's time to put it down.

This is women's empowerment in its rawest form. Not the Instagram quote kind. The "I'm breaking my silence and taking my life back" kind.

We're done being quiet. We're done playing small. We're done letting them get away with it.

    In This Episode:

    • My first public account of being sexually assaulted three times and why I never told
    • What Claudia Sheinbaum and Fatima Bosch teach us about power and resilience
    • How workplace microaggressions and disrespect keep women from rising
    • Why speaking up, even when it's terrifying, is the ultimate act of power
    • How to turn your pain into purpose and your silence into strength

This is Latina Mic Drop. We don't do polite. We don't do quiet. We do POWERFUL.
