On this episode of #LatinosOutLoud, host Rachel La Loca chats with actor, singer, and television personality Carlos Ponce. The two reminisce on where they originally met back in 2007, the state of Latino representation on-screen, and his new film, Ethan Bloom.
The film is an incredible comedy set in Miami about a 13-year-old boy who, in the midst of preparing for his Bar Mitzvah, decides he wants to be Catholic. Carlos has a key and incredibly endearing role as Father Diaz, the priest who becomes the spiritual guide and confidant of this confused boy. It's a very witty character that shows a very human side of Carlos, different from what we've seen before.
