There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from trying to get it right. The right words, the right move, the right motive underneath , and then the second-guessing that circles back around. It torments. And most of us have quietly learned to call that humility, when really it's just us trying to be good enough, and neglecting where real boldness comes from: his our righteousness in Christ.

This pattern of fear can be characterized by accusation and fear, but you were made right.

Not on your way to right if you can keep your motives clean enough, but made right, already, in Him. His righteousness is what you put on in the morning, and you didn't generate it on your own and you don't have to do anything to keep it.

The moment it becomes about your works, it quietly becomes about you, and fear takes the lead.

There is freedom for you to put on God's righteousness and live with a confidence that's 100% given to you as a gift. Know that every action, thought, idea, motive: anything given to him is a purified offering, submitted to his sanctification.
