The latest installment of our Dragon Heist campaign, wherein the PCs search Waterdeep for Volo’s friend Floon and find mostly birds.
We struggle manfully with learning Fantasy Grounds and it gets a lot smoother towards the end.
Welcome to the fourth episode of our intrigue-laden, domain level D&D 5e Campaign.
In this episode Diego has a memory of when his Uncle returned from Tethyr in his youth, and the PCs find out the relationship between Danalo and the Queen of Tethyr.
spoiler It’s not a healthy, vibrant one /spoiler
And then Diego has his official wedding with Tefeneka… But questions hang over his weretiger wife – did she rip apart an innocent man in Waterdeep? And if she didn’t who’s trying to frame her?
The crew hit Waterdeep in the first proper session of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist…
Fenn takes down some kind of half-gnome half-troll at Tempus’ Testicles Boxing Arena, Ode drops to two-strings in a bard off at The Yawning Portal, Aldred takes care of the family business and Gilbert loses money at Mystra’s Mahjong Parlour… Also some combat and a meeting with Volo!
Join us as we take Waterdeep apart brick by brick!
Welcome to the third episode of our intrigue-based D&D 5e campaign. Join us as our heroes chase some tricksy Eladrin through the Feywild in a bid to recover the crown jewels of Tethyr!
This is a more typical D&D session with a touch of combat, a touch of exploration and then ending on a social bomb shell!
Welcome to the second episode of our intrigue-based D&D 5e campaign. Join us as we argue about insurance on freight forwarding, shop in a high-ranking noble to their monarch, and then dive head first into a mirror known to belong to our arch-enemy…
Your classic PC moves basically!
We have a slightly unusual start as I had messed up the audio, so there’s a voiceover setting the scene (as well as the usual ‘previously on’) and we get right into the, er, action straight after.
Here we are again, with the very first session of the Waterdeep Campaign aiming to take the characters all the way from 1 through to 20!
We mash our way through Fantasy Grounds, don’t engage at all with the plot as written, but have some fun and high jinks in any case! Please be aware this is the first session most of us have used Fantasy Grounds and the session was mostly about trying to get to grips with that, but there’s plenty of characterisation in there!
Welcome one and all to our D&D 5e campaign. Join us as we follow the heroes that destroyed the Tomb of Annihilation as they settle into a domain-level intrigue game.
Starring…
Ben as Diego Darkblade, 11th Level Swashbuckling Noble
Josh as Ox, 11th Level Fighter and Chosen of Bahamut
Martin as himself, 11th Level Paladin and enforcer of truth
In this episode Paul and Martin cover the middle alphabetical set of sub-classses, moving from Fighter through to Ranger. They clearly run out of time for the rest so invent an Episode 3!
Paul rails against poorly thought out text, whilst Martin gets to talk about himself the Paladin class. As before, they cover the RP elements that introduce each sub-class before running through the merits and de-merits in typical Mostly Off-Topic style. Consider yourself warned!
By the Gods, it’s been a long time coming. In this episode, Paul hooks up with new comer Martin to focus entirely on the new D&D hotness, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything. They cover some of the player options from the new book, such as Racial Feats, This is Your Life and the new sub-classes for Barbarian through Druid.
Martin may be new to the podcast, but he can meander his way through a topic like an old hand!
The podcast currently has 38 episodes available.
