En: Snow created a white blanket that shone in competition with the winter sun.
Fi: Akseli, Mikko ja Pirjo astelivat varovasti järven jäällä, kirpakka tuuli leikkien heidän poskillaan.
En: Akseli, Mikko, and Pirjo walked cautiously on the frozen lake, the brisk wind playing on their cheeks.
Fi: He olivat päättäneet pitää hauskan retkipäivän, vaikka arktinen tundra ei ollut ystävällisin paikka grillaamiseen.
En: They had decided to have a fun excursion day, even though the arctic tundra wasn't the friendliest place for barbecuing.
