Laut podcast #102 with Qbs

Qbs, a Warsaw-based DJ who seamlessly blends his passion for music with his daily profession as a UI/UX designer. Since 2003, Kuba has been a stalwart figure in the electronic music scene of Warsaw, delving deep into its sonic landscape and championing its diverse sounds.

His journey began with notable projects such as Deep We Can and Przyjaciele w tańcu, and he was a core member of the esteemed dype crew until 2017. In 2019, he embarked on his own venture, the IMPRO series, held at the renowned afterhour hotspot Luzztro. Here, he curates unforgettable nights, spotlighting some of Poland's finest live act artists like Private Press, Jacek Sienkiewicz, Michał Wolski, Piotr Figiel, Kuba Sojka, Marek Nalikowski, and more.

What sets Qbs apart as a selector is his ability to seamlessly blend deep, occasionally moody, yet always groovy techno with a touch of minimalism and acid vibes. His refusal to confine himself to a single genre keeps audiences on their toes, never knowing what sonic journey he'll embark on next.

Throughout his illustrious career, Qbs has graced the decks alongside an impressive array of talent, including Etapp Kyle, Zenker Brothers, Skeemask, Stenny, Dj Fett Burger, Prins Thomas, Nur Jaber, James Ruskin, Steve Bicknell, Efdemin, Deniro, Eric Cloutier, Antigone, Vril, Konstantin, Edward, Legowelt, Objekt, Barker, Move D, Inigo Kennedy, Truss, Vitalic Live, Redshape Live, Dark Sky, Simian Mobile Disco, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Jamie xx, Marco Resmann, Sebo K, Wighnomy Brothers, Andrey Pushkarev, and many more.
