Every believer has three laws operating inside them: the law of sin and death in the flesh that resists God, the law of the spirit in the inner man that desires to obey God, and the law of the mind that decides which one wins. Until our minds shift from operating under the law of sin and death to the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, our lives cannot break free from the patterns we hate, which is why we must identify the lies we've believed, replace them with God's truth, and surrender the life we think we're supposed to have so God can give us the life we were born for.
