Our history of failures, defeats, and even the erasure of who we truly are has led many to settle for limitation and to see themselves as nothing more than descendants of slaves, but the same power that raised Jesus also raised us up, so we must stop living beneath and start taking on the characteristics of our Father. It is time to come out of the shallows and speak the creative word God has placed in our mouths, to act like the sons and daughters of God we are, and to trust that He will restore the years the locust has eaten as we refuse the default position of limits and flesh.

Pastor Andy teaches that doing the impossible requires a connection between our words and our actions, because words alone are never enough; using the parable of the two sons, one who said no but later went to work and one who said yes but never did, we learn that what we do must line up with what we say if we are going to accomplish what God has placed before us. Prayer is the beginning of right talking, training our mouths to speak faith instead of fear, and the Lord's prayer itself becomes a template for power that carries us from unity power and relationship power into praise power and kingdom power. When we learn to say our Father instead of my Father, to build a real relationship with Him, to praise Him as an act of our will, and to declare His kingdom and His will over our own world, we stop being ruled by the things that frustrate us and begin to speak to the mountains in our lives until they move.

We cannot let society have our children or give up on the expectation of better, because the real protection against the predator is knowing who you are on the inside, and no weapon formed against you can prosper when you are filled with Him.
