Today is an extended bonus episode commemorating the end of Holy Week (Passover/Feast of Unleaven Bread).  How the children of Israel ended up in Egypt as slaves, and God's strategy for freeing them. 

God gave Abraham the hardest test a father could face. Later, his grandson got very busy having babies.

This is a not-so quick review of the foundational spiritual laws which put the entire Biblical precendent into focus.

1) Love God by obeying him;

2) Love your brother;

3) God hates sin so much he destroyed the earth because of its corruption.

Abraham is a key figure in the 3 major world religions - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Each day we get to choose a side: God's team, or the adversary's.

There is a repeated pattern of promises given by God. Although He is the King, He does not violate or sidestep His own law.

Man's fall led to the corruption of his seed, the destruction of the earth, and God's first promise of salvation.

As we continue to weather the COVID-19 storm, we are believing and trusting God to keep us safe and to send His peace into our homes that it may rest upon our families. Discussing how fear entered into the earth and leads us to the story of Noah.

Stories are an important form of communication. In them lie the history of mankind and our victorious future.

My plans were pleasantly interrupted by the stories of two older women who inspired and strengthened me today.
