Thirteen is considered an unlucky number and the WWF was absolutely snakebitten as they tried to build this Wrestlemania. It's the one where Shawn Michaels "lost his smile" and pulled out of the show a few weeks out, totally scuttling the planned Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels main event.

Instead, we got the legendary Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin Submission Match, which helped launch Steve Austin to stardom. Plus our man Sid defending the WWF Championship against The Undertaker.
