In this episode, Elisabeth and Arica finish off the Hobbit Trilogy by watching "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" Part 2. This is shorter than usual, since we went long last week but still lots of laughs and random stories told. This is part has a super sad ending so you may or may not hear us crying towards the end.  

Now that we have finished The Hobbit Trilogy, we will, starting next week, start The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Some of the best fantasy movies ever made!

In this episode, Elisabeth and Arica cover the second half of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." This episode has a little wrinkle in it, the streaming service, HBO Max, took the Hobbit movies down and they have to borrow the movies from a friend and all he had was the extended edition. So for the rest of the Hobbit movies, they will all be the extended editions. You can still watch along with them just fine with little hiccups from the extended version. In this episode, Elisabeth and Arica start their J. R. R. Tolkien series with the movie, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (part 1) in honor of the late Sir Ian Holm, who plays Bilbo Baggins in the Lord of the Ring Trilogy. They girls also have a special guest, Constance, which is Arica's 2 1/2 year old daughter and she sings and says hi to everyone and gives a little commentary on the movie. This week it is a little different, since all of the Hobbit movies are very long. It was decided that each movie will be done in two parts so that you don't have to listen to a 3 hour podcast/commentary all at once.
