The truth is in life, time and chance happen to everyone as the wise man wrote in Ecclesiastes 9:11. At different times we all get opportunities to make the world a better place or improve the lives of those around us with who we are and what we have. At one point or the other, everyone gets a chance to offer a service to someone. Offering that service to someone in need is success – identifying a human need and meeting it.
The million-dollar question is how well prepared you are to make the most of opportunities when it’s your turn to shine? Will you seize it or complain about how you didn’t get as much preparation time as the next guy? Prepare now!

In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said, "Nothing shall be impossible unto you"; in other words, you can do anything. The Apostle Paul lends credence to this in our opening verse. Also, in 2 Corinthians 3:5, he takes it a step further, saying, "Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God." This isn't talking about your human sufficiency or ability, but of God's ability in you; you're to look beyond yourself.

When God created us, He places within all of us seeds of greatness - there is value in every person and an ability to bless and change the world. For us to function optimally, as God intended, we need to have the right people in our lives. In this episode I talk about the importance of building the right relationships with people and I also make a distinction between having people in your life and surrounding yourself with people.

Sometimes it's not the "toxic people and their negative vibes" we need to be careful of, rather it's the ones who love us and genuinely want to see us doing well. In this episode I talk about how to deal with love when it becomes unintentionally toxic and how to protect ourselves from the opinions, love and even the well wishes of those people who are closest to us. Their opinions mean something to us because of who we are to them, who they are to us and if we are being honest, it feels good to know that we have their approval. But as much as we need their love and them, sometimes we have to say no to the love because saying yes to it means saying no to God's purpose and plan for our lives.
