Then, a conversation with Rochester Knighthawks General Manager Dan Carey about the Upstate Collegiate Box Lacrosse League, which the Knighthawks and Buffalo Bandits have worked together to create and which is launching to give college age players, particularly collegiate field players, a chance to work on their box game. Carey and the other folks involved in the creation of the UCBLL are excited for what the league will do for field players trying to break into the box game, for National Lacrosse League teams who are looking to tap into the vast potential of American field players for the pro box game, and also for how it will help collegiate players bring something more to their outdoor game.
