As part of this season about marriages and relationships, today I share about the transformation that happened in my marriage when God taught me how to lay aside my rights when it came to chores, and who would do what in our house.

What felt at first like dying to myself - and just resigning myself to do it all- actually FREED me, to feel grateful when my husband does help out, and more than that - to make my household work a time of worship, where I can praise while I straighten or scroll through my prayer list with Him, mentally, while I go through my cleaning routine.
