We start this episode hot with Tasty's breakdown of his NFL Free Agency decision including why he picked the team he did, why he avoided some other teams, and which ones it really came down to in the end. We then pivot to some MLB free agency talk before getting back into our thoughts on the Conference Championship games and then wrap it up with one of the greatest name takes of all time.
Alec and Picano return to go over the first two super wild card games and look ahead to the next couple of games, including a massive first round matchup for Tasty's Cowboys. Then a huge fight breaks out surrounding the legitimacy of college basketball, truly must-listen content. Finally, we get a rant about the Red Sox and a look ahead at some of the teams who have shown some promise with their offseason acquisitions.
Anthony "Tasty" Picano and Alec "Big Mac" MacDonald debut their new show, a spinoff of the old Laying the Points where they discuss all the recent news in the sports world rather than just betting takes. On today's episode they talk about some of the recent head coaching changes across both the NFL and NCAA, including the departure of the only Patriots head coach that Big Mac has ever known. They talk about who else might get fired, who might fill some roles, and then pivot to what they think might happen this weekend in the NFL Wildcard round. This is a brand new format, so let us know what you think!
The boys were HOT last week all boasting pretty elite picks records. We recap all the games and give out our picks for what looks to be a very promising slate of games this weekend.
Down a member for most of the episode, Alec, Lou, and Picano recap what was one of the most eventful football weekends of recent memory and look ahead to this weekends games, including some of our favorite teams and trends from years past.
We're back for another football season giving out picks cooking up parlays and having a good time. This time though our in house mush Picano appears to be on FIRE with his takes, how long will it last?
We're back with another episode of LTP Trivia where Tyler and Brett attempt to defend their crown from Lou and Picano. No spoilers but this is definitely our best competition yet :) Also this will be best enjoyed on youtube, check us out at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCevsc6ooJEsJFn7KtlLQtRw
Bittersweet times as the Super Bowl is over and so is football for the next 7 months. We give our thoughts on how the game went and then dive into what we're looking forward to in this upcoming MLB season. Just a heads up, likely no episode for the next two weeks as we wait for March Madness and MLB to start getting going, not a ton for us to do with just NHL/NBA.
We've finally hit the week of the big game and the gents give their picks for what should be an electric Superbowl Sunday. Then, we get into how we thought the NBA trade deadline went and how we think all the teams stack up against each other going forward in what should be a wild end to the season.
The boys continue their trivia grind with their own adaptation of Barstool's The Dozen featuring special guest and friend of the pod, Brett Croke.
