In this short episode I provide a translation of Romans 8:35-39. This translation was done for a friend's request. If you have a 3-4 verse passage you would like me to translate please email  [email protected].

In this episode we explore the meaning of κατέλαβεν (katelaben) in John 1:5 and in doing so investigate other parts of the Gospel of John.

This episode explores one of the main reasons I became interested in New Testament translation. To day I take a look at John 1:1-2 and dig into the meaning of Logos.

In this episode I look at the name Luke uses for Mary, and dig into where Jesus was born.

Hi I’m Eric. I’m doing a podcast on translating the New Testament.

You’re probably asking yourself why you should listen to me, and the truth is you probably shouldn’t.

I’m neither a scholar nor a pastor, I’m not even a Christian, so nothing I say is gospel.

Who I am is a person with an introductory knowledge of Ancient Greek language, and interest in understanding the background of these texts.
