A lazy believer is not willing to put forth the effort required to reach spiritual maturity. You must see your own spiritual malnutrition. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). God wants you to grow up to be spiritually strong and healthy re-presenting the Lord Jesus Christ. This is a mandate from God. “Study to show yourself approved unto God” (2 Tim 2:15).  Knowing God is not the same thing as understanding God. God wants you to understand His unfailing love, righteousness and justice. Put in all the effort possible so you can reach spiritual maturity while there is still time.
