After an e-mail came to light that a CEO of a game developer asked his employee's to buy and positively review their game on Steam, Valve has removed the developer from the platform completely. This is just the most example of immoral practices within an industry of questionable practices.

This week in gaming news, micro-transactions are one again in the headlines as Activision-Blizzard declares a 4 Billion Dollar profit off their in-app purchases. Ubisoft see's a 9% spike in stocks, this is attributed partially to micro-trans content. Monster Hunter World sets a new record for Capcom as the fastest selling game to date. In other news, the Five Nights at Freddys movie has found it's director in Chris Columbus.

This week in esports news, ESPN reports that Season 2 buy-ins for Overwatch League could triple. The Mountain West Conference is looking to bring esports to March Madness. Team Liquid dominates once again in CS:GO with a win at CS Summit 2. Lastly, Germany is the most recent country to recognize esports as an official sport.
