LBR Podcast Network

With the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon everyone is scrambling to re-catch ‘em all. (Except for Kali, loser.) The hosts of FEC talk about all the new changes to the longtime favorite franchise, what worked, what didn’t work and what does it spell for the future of Pokemon? Plus, a switch exclusive Pokemon game?! Other headlines include Persona 5 delay (again!), another Miyazaki film and a man…melting to death?

This week on Limit Break Radio Aniero completely loses all control of the show. It's mutiny! Eskalia, Nika and Juxta force Aniero to listen to the fan faction we didn't have time for last week. Then we hear from a "very special" (see: dumb) member of the Final Fantasy XIV community and find out what upset him so. And we round out the show by reading shitty YouTube comments.

Today on Final Encounter Cast the crew examines the evolution of gaming media from its beginnings with gaming magazines, its eventual evolution to television and how both those mediums have been completely eclipsed by gaming media on the internet. Plus, news stories including Blizzard starting its own e-sports league for Overwatch, the chilling HBO documentary about Slenderman and Snapchat vending machine glasses confuse the crew .

This week on LBR the dick ninja’s double team Deep Dungeon! Plus the newest relic step leaves a lot to be desired. And once again the discussion circles back to the biggest problem in FFXIV currently -- incentive. Can SE do it right?

While at Alamo City Comic Con 2016 Nate was able to grab a few moments of time from acclaimed Dragon Ball Z star Sean Schemmel, better known as Goku. The two talked a bit more about the current SAG-AFTRA strike affecting video game voice overs. Nate also flays Kali and Chris for their lack luster show programming. Other headlines include: Tim Miller jumping ship from Deadpool 2 to Sonic? Nintendo bringing back the PowerLine and Nate shitting all over his idol Howard Stern.

Patch 3.45 looms large as the LBR crew looks forward to the update for Palace of the Dead. Aniero may be out of town, but that doesn't stop Eskalia, Nika, and Juxta from bringing you all the latest in the world of Eorzea. Also on the show today, Simply Juxta makes its long awaited (we guess?) return to the airwaves as the hosts discuss why the Halloween event is good and what SE could learn from its success. Racist Roulette makes a dramatic come back, this time with the great wheel of intolerance deciding which stereotypes belong to which jobs, and we also debut a new segment where grand prophet Juxtaposition divines your fortunes in Eorzean Horoscopes. All of that and more on this #Nikaliaposition episode of Limit Break Radio!

Happy Halloween everyone! Nate may be out of town, but the show must go on as Kali steps in with Nika and Christoff to take you through the week in gaming and e-sports. From crossplay being banned at Tokyo Comic Con to the League of Legends world finals, tune in for all the latest. Also on the show today we discuss horror as a genre as well as the ethics behind purchasing and streaming games.

A week after Fanfest and the reveal of Stormblood the host (along with a very special guest) discuss the finer points of the newest expansion. They also retell the shenanigans of the Epic LBR After Party which includes but is not limited too: Juxta’s Action Figure, Scuro Almost Dying and Susan Calloway. We also welcome a special guest: Prince Klari who will be joining the crew on the forthcoming radio project from LBR.

What a huge week for gaming. Nintendo dropping the trailer bomb for the Nintendo Switch. Join Nate, Kali and Chris as they share their opinions about the Nintendo Switch. We also take some calls to find out how you’re reacting to the Nintendo Switch. Plus, conversations about China’s new (See: mandatory) social network, the Pokemon Sun and Moon demo and how you can use the PSVR to play Xbox1 and Wii-U games.

Limit Break Radio keeps their convention coverage rolling with Day 2 from out at The Paris in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival. Live reports from the convention floor including interviews with Sly aka Grey Fox and MTQCapture as well as a special sit down with Answers vocalist Susan Calloway. Plus, check out a sneak peak at the brand new remix of Answers available exclusively to Fan Fest attendees!
