LBR Podcast Network

On todays show, we go to square one with how all this drama started, Mithrie Menethil. You may know him best as a crafter and content creator, but Reddit will have you believing something else entirely. He joins the show to explain his side of things, talk about LBR stole the spotlight and how to put it all behind us. Kallo also tells a cautionary tale about ‘Crafting Cartels’ and what Square Enix should do to protect crafters from harassment.

The news is a bit light this time around as FEC takes to it’s weekly schedule, but that doesn’t keep the hosts from having a ball with some of the major headlines; including Blizzard taking down a private vanilla server and Rust turning half their player base into girls. The real discussion comes in the wake of the Toby Turner scandal that has all of the gaming industry up and at attention. In addition, everyone weights in on Hollywood’s Major casting decision. See what I did there?

Things get bat shit crazy this week on LBR. Sonomaa from BlueGartr joins the crew to talk an interview he did with the World First Progression team Elysium. Then the hosts pose the question, just how qualified must you be to hold an opinion om the matter? Does the LBR staff itself have the authority to speak on such matters? So we open up our phones lines to hear what YOU have to say. Plus, we discuss popular FFXIV and Gaming YouTuber Mithrie and the criticism he’s facing for turning to the community in a time of need, so the crew responds to the criticism. Buckle up. It gets real.

This week on Final Encounter Cast, the Crew weigh in on opinions ranging from FFXV’s recent info dump to Final Fantasy 7’s latest news to a Politician spending $1300 on Steam Games. But the real fire comes when Robbie is finally able to open up about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The entire Crew takes a wild, untamed ride through recent Marvel Film History and gets down and dirty with what it means with Civil War on the horizon and where the MCU could take us.

Not only is the LBR crew down one Kallo Landis, but the studio is MIA due to technical difficulties! The hosts rally together and pull through for an episode full of laughs and critical thinking with the ethical dilemma that is known as Feast Feeding. Many callers including our own PvP correspondent Joe Never call in with their views on Feast Feeding and ideas to prevent it. Later, we sink our teeth into the bite-sized Anima quest update we got in 3.25. How do you think the hosts reacted? Find out by tuning into the 58th episode of Limit Break Radio!

Everyone on the Final Encounter Cast crew are big Final Fantasy fans, so we knew we would have to talk about the Final Fantasy XV: Uncovered event. What we didn't know is just how much info Square-Enix would dump on us! A movie, an anime, a new demo, Hollywood acting talent and tons more! Most of the FEC crew has been pretty cynical about Final Fantasy XV, let's see if this changed their tune! Also, the latest gaming headlines including Grand Theft Auto 6, Overwatch removes a characters butt pose because of player criticisms, and super creep Allison Rapp gets fired from Nintendo, and if Twitter has you believing it's because "she's a woman": think again.

The Producer Live Letter which was themed UI Design had quite a few surprise gems hidden in the rough, including new content called Platoon and a new Grand Company Rank. The hosts also deliberate on Healer Accuracy and what the hell the Devs are thinking, touch briefly on RDM and BLU (again), as well as Raid Pacing, iLV design for Weapons and Feast Changes. Callers today include two big hitters; JoeNeverFails and SlyakaGreyfox. Tune in for the full skinny.

Today's main headlines include the Twitch Scandal surrounding Ara_Gaming and Digital Homicides lawsuit against Jim Stirling. Other meaningful discussions among the crew range from Pokemon GO, the Division, Playstation VR and British Gaming Television Shows. It's a grab bag of fun and douchebaggery.

With 3.0 half way through its life cycle the hosts imagine what could be next. What’s in store raid-side? Where might the story lead? Could we get more customization? They also receive some insightful calls, including one from FusionX of Aetheryte Radio and Gamer Escape. And they read some of your emails..

With the release of 3.25 comes the newest addition to FFXIV PVP, the Feast! According to the hosts, it seems to be a resounding success, but what does this mean for the future of PVP Content? With Eskalia missing, Kallo takes a hold of the FFFL updates for the week. Plus, in a stunning plot twist...Aniero and Nika erupt into a bloodthirsty argument that leaves everyone stunned.
