What are you afraid of? Is it always wrong to fear? How can I overcome fear? This week we begin our new series, Fearless and we will see that we are called to put our faith in Christ in the face of fear.

An enemy of the church, this man was arrested by the presence of Jesus on the road to Damascus and nothing would ever be the same. His was a life of trials and suffering, but also great victories. God still reaches out to the lost and can change the world through a life yielded to His Kingdom.

Pastor Steve shares some exciting news that we have been waiting to hear.

At a young age, this man had conquered a giant and become a king, with God's help. His fame and success led him to temptation. Though he stumbled and fell into sin, through confession and repentance God restored this man again. God is still in the business of restoring the broken giving them a heart of worship and praise.

In a land where many had rejected the Lord, God would take a fearful man and raise him up to be a mighty warrior. God still helps us overcome our fears to boldly do His work in a land opposed to Him.

A life of advantages and education left this man empty. Longing to help his own people he took matters into his own hands with disastrous results. But God had big plans for a man humbled by the desert life of a herdsman. He would be raised up to lead a nation from captivity to freedom. God still uses those that humbly surrender to His will, regardless of their past.

A dreamer is betrayed by his brothers. Sold into slavery, his life seemed to be over. But, God ordered the steps of this man who chose to honor God and took him from a prison to the palace. God still uses those who walk in obedience to do great things.

Far from home and family, one man believed God's promise for the impossible. Through many ups and downs, God used this ordinary man to change the world forever. God still uses those who walk by faith and not by sight.

On Sunday, August 19th, 2018 Life Church announced the Building Life Together campaign. One year later, to the day, Life Church received a very exciting email. Pastor Steve shares some great news and asks for continued prayers.

Preparing for the storms of this life is a serious matter. Storms will come. As our series, “Storm Proof” comes to an end, we are reminded that Jesus is the one who still speaks, “Peace! Be still!” We have seen that when the storms of life rage, God is more concerned about our character and holiness than our comfort and happiness. Doubts may come, but doubt is no place to stay, it’s a place to pray. God is big enough to handle our doubts! Going through life, our best laid plans can fall apart. But, it’s in those moments that we pray and praise because just because things aren’t going according to our plans, doesn’t mean they aren’t going according to God’s. I’d rather have my plans fall apart than miss what God has planned for my life. Today, we will see that to truly be prepared we must be in Christ, for in Him we are anchored through the storm!
