Life in Christ is life in the Spirit for our lives today. Lives directed, sustained, animated and enriched by the Holy Spirit. This is part 1 of going through Romans 8 to see how we embrace this for our lives now.

On this episode we look at Hebrews 7 and a priest called Melchizedek and his connection with Jesus. It might seem strange and confusing to us but it's actually pointing us to something of incredible importance.

In part two of this message we consider what scripture says of prayer together. What do we do with the fact that the early church was devoted to prayer together? Why do we pray together as the church?

Hebrews 5 says that Jesus learned obedience through suffering. The NT speaks a lot of suffering and his followers suffering alongside Jesus. Is this connected to our maturity in Christ? We continue in our study of Hebrews by looking at this in chapter 6.

We tend to skip over the genealogies in scripture; hard to pronounce names and we want to get to the parts with practical application. But we can learn a lot from these lists, how God worked redemption in lives and how he does in ours as well. Guest speaker Gene Enns digs into this and provides great observations from the genealogy in Matthew 1 and how it reveals that Jesus really is the end of the story.
