This week we spent time looking at what we proclaim in the participation of communion together; the crucial importance of remembrance in our lives and how it calls us to covenant as the body of Christ.

The words of Jeremiah are a conversation with God, a recording of a relationship through which God speaks. And what do we hear in these words 2700 years later? They reveal that God is drawing his people into faithfulness and a relationship marked by his constant presence in our lives. Listen to more as we hear more amidst Life’s Tests, a message of hope from the weeping prophet.

One aspect that fuels our generosity is contentment. What does scripture tell us about contentment? How does it connect money, contentment, and godliness? How do we embrace the solution of contentment and the pursuit of godliness to help us follow the way of Jesus.

The reality of intentional community puts some important questions before us: How Satan attempt to keep us from community? What does life together as God’s people call us to and how does community shape us to be more like Jesus? Pastor Paul dives into these questions as we talk about being a church defined by brokenness and vulnerability.

Community is such an integral part of our church body and life in Jesus. Prayer, worship, fasting and reading the word are all things that aren’t meant to be done as individuals. They are things we are called to do together, so we can learn and grow as a body.
